Nano Hybrids

Title: Nano Hybrids
ISSN: 2234-9871, ISSN/ISO:
Online: http://www.scientific.net/NH
About: “Nano Hybrids” is a peer-reviewed international journal. This journal predominately publishes research and review articles on hybrid nano materials- such as inorganic-organic, inorganic-inorganic and organic-organic. It is an interdisciplinary research journal and also focuses on all aspects of nanoscience and nanotechnology. Submissions are solicited in all topical areas, ranging from basic aspects of the science of nanomaterials, devises based on nanomaterilas and applications.

“Nano Hybrids” is an open-access journal, making all research results freely available online. It offers readers an attractive mix of authoritative and comprehensive original cutting-edge research communication in Full Paper Formats, Short Communications and Reviews. Rapid review process to ensure quick publication is a key feature of this journal.

There are several open access journals available on nano materials or nanotechnology but none of them is dedicated to hybrid materials, although they publish articles on hybrid materials. This journal “Nano Hybrids” will concentrate on nano material based hybrids.

Nano Hybrids is an open access journal and it has a processing fee, but for the first two years it will be free of charges for the authors and will be supported by the publisher. At present Nano Hybrids does not have any sponsors, but we are trying to get one. Then in the future the processing fee can be reduced significantly.

Aim: Brief Focus Area

- Synthesis and characterization of all nanomaterials (hybrid nanomaterials, organic, inorganic, organic-inorganic and biological)

- Structures, functions, applications and modeling of these materials

- Design of devices and device components based on nanomaterials

- Applications of nanomaterials in any filed (for example- optics, electronics, environment, energy, bioanalytical and biomedical detections and imaging etc.)

- Advances in nano materials science, nanotechnology, nanobiology, and nanobiotechnology

Though emphases will be given to hybrid nano materials, Editors also encourage researchers engaged in all the relevant research fields in nanotechnology to submit full research articles, short Communications and review articles. This journal also welcome articles discussing potential nano application in addition to solutions to problems of fundamental scientific relevance to the research fields listed below:

- Hybrid nanomaterials, alloy nano materials

- Nano catalysts and catalysis

- Optical, electronic, and magnetic properties of nanomaterials

- Nanoscale surface and interface

- Micro- and nano- devices and sensors

- Single-molecules

- Nanobiology and nanobiotechnology

- Nanomedicine and Nanoimaging

- Environmental and health concerns about nanomaterials
